This bill protects Social Security recipients from having to pay back funds that arise from overpayment errors on the part of SSA.

WASHINGTON— Today, Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08), Senator Gary Peters (MI), and Senator Elissa Slotkin (MI) announced $325 million in federal funding awarded to Hemlock Semiconductor for the expansion of their mid-Michigan manufacturing facility. The new investment is expected to create approximately 180 permanent manufacturing jobs and over 1,000 construction jobs.
