WASHINGTON— Today, Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08) announced new federal grant funding has been awarded to Flint’s Mass Transportation Authority (MTA).
The $11,969,176 grant was awarded through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration. The funding will help the MTA maintain and expand service routes across Genesee County, as well as upgrade buses, stations, and facilities.
