WASHINGTON— Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08) was appointed to serve on the U.S. House Committee on Agriculture and U.S. House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure in the 119th Congress.
The committees – known for consensus and bipartisan action – put Rep. McDonald Rivet in position to advocate on the pocketbook issues she has emphasized throughout her career.

WASHINGTON— Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08) was sworn into the 119th Congress today, marking the beginning of her first term. Congresswoman McDonald Rivet is the first woman to serve mid-Michigan in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Upon her swearing in, Congresswoman McDonald Rivet promised to be a problem-solving, independent voice for the working families of mid-Michigan.
