This bill, supported by Democrats and Republicans, would investigate the factors contributing to the lack of affordable and accessible child care in the United States.

The conversation focused on the lack of affordable child care, its damage to the economy, and what Congress can do to drive down costs for families and unlock America’s full economic potential.
WASHINGTON— Today, Congresswomen Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08) and Ashley Hinson (IA-02) announced the bipartisan Early Education Savings Program Act. This bill, supported by Democrats and Republicans, would make child care more affordable by expanding 529 savings programs to cover child care expenses.
