FLINT, MI— In case you missed it, last week Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08) helped pass her Healthy Obtainable Tasty (HOT) Rotisserie Chicken Act through the U.S. House of Representatives. An overwhelming bipartisan majority of the House voted in favor of the bill, which would allow families to buy hot rotisserie chicken through the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP).
