“Flint Bishop Airport is an economic multiplier for our region, making sure passengers and commercial goods can travel quickly and smoothly,” said Rivet. “I am thrilled to see this money coming to Flint.”
The grant will help fund the reconstruction of approximately 80,500 square feet of aging terminal roof and gutter systems, as well as the replacement of directional signage to improve passenger and baggage movement throughout the terminal.
“We are incredibly grateful to the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration for awarding this vital grant to Flint Bishop Airport. This funding enables us to proceed with essential improvements to our terminal infrastructure,” said Nino Sapone, CEO of Flint Bishop International Airport.“
